At the beginning of this new year, I've been thinking about all the expressions of love around the world. Every culture has one. The symbols of love in my painting are from a myriad of traditions: African, First Nations, Celtic, Chinese, Arabic, Viking, Aztec, etc.

I wanted the world to be non-descript, since all voices are equal in their passion and dreams.

For those of you who don't read music, the phrase is from "What a Wonderful World".
