This painting was inspired by a story of three men in Canada who were waiting at Jeannette’s Crossing, Ontario, for a train that would be bringing their immigrant relatives from Russia and Germany in the 1950s.

Given the war in Ukraine, I would like to donate the proceeds from this painting to a foundation set up by Ukrainian Olympic Skeleton athlete and frien of my son, Evan, Vladyslav Heraskevych.
