While I was painting this, I couldn’t get Gordon Lightfoot’s song, "Pussy Willows Cat-tails", out of my mind. So I used one of the phrases from the song to name it. In these early, and unfortunately overcast (at least in southwestern Ontario), days of January, it’s kind of nice to think of Spring!
