"Remembrance" 16x20, 8x10, 3x10 (Triptych)Acrylic on Canvas 
January 2025 FOR SALE $300.00 I love the silkiness and translucence of white poppies! In light of the ongoing wars across the world, I wanted to paint something that represents peace. The white poppy was first introduced as a symbol of remembrance of the victims of war and a commitment to pacifism in 1933 by the Women's Cooperative Guild in the UK. It was adopted by the Peace Pledge Union, also in the UK, the following year. Here are the three paintings that make up this triptych:
