Remembering Mike... October 7, 1952-February 11, 2012

This painting is called "Tune Up for Ruthie". Once Mike made a video for me, and that's what he called it. The painting is from a frame from that video.

There are some paintings I've done of people so that I could "get them out of my system"...lol...like the beautiful Roman guy I saw in Italy, or the Cuban farm couple. I needed to paint them.

The last couple of days I needed to paint Mike, too. Obviously, not to get him out of my system! haha! But to breathe a little easier.
