My Mom died last month. She was only sick for a short time and she died peacefully, without pain and at home. During her last weeks and since then, I've realized how many good things there are in the world. I have a strong family, my Dad at 93 is doing the best he can with this huge adjustment, but we're all around him, helping and loving each other.

I needed to paint something that felt "right". And so, here it is......my glass is "half full".
